The Chair, led by Ambre Elsas-Nicolle at CEDP, Mines Paris – PSL, and supported by the Île-de-France Region, examines the adoption of advanced digital technologies by French firms (cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence), as well as the role of public policies and the European regulatory framework in this transformation.
Our objectives
Identify the determinants of adoption
… and highlight disparities across firm size, sector, and location.
Understand the role of public policies
… aimed at improving digital infrastructure, particularly telecommunications networks.
Assess the impact of regulation
… in particular, recent European regulations (e.g., GDPR, the DSA, and the AI Act).
